In autumn 2024, a very successful transformation of a 3D-printed wear component from prestudy and prototypes to a serial production took place. One of our customers (name and application cannot be disclosed due to non-disclure agreement), placed several repeat orders, including an estimate for coming year’s demand. A great example of a successful customer journey.
The actual application is a good example of combining the superior material properties of Vibenite® – resulting in increase life time – and the design freedom of additive manufacturing – meaning reduced cost and complexity/lead times.
