Heat treatment services
In addition to additive manufacturing (AM) of extremely heat- and wear-resistant Vibenite® alloys, VBN Components also offers a unique supply of combined heat treatment and pressure for material details, which could be used for
- material research and development purposes
- extremely quick delivery times
- HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressing) and heat treat¬ment of AM parts
- HIP only to remove porosity
- HIP with other settings than the usual
- HIP and direct hardening
- HIP and other heat treatments
- HIP, hardening and tempering within a day
Please note that machine capacity will first be assigned to Vibenite® materials printed for VBN Components’ customers.
Alloy content specifications are required before accepting orders, to limit evaporation or contamination.
