Inauguration at VBN Components

PRESS RELEASE 11 November 2021

When it comes to developing hard and wear resistant metals, few—if any—companies can match VBN Components. For more than a decade, unique, 3D printed alloys with better properties than traditional ones have been VBN’s niche and what has made the Swedish company known around the world.

In order to increase production speed and improve workflow, VBN moved to three times larger premises last spring. New personnel has been employed and acquisitions of machines are planned. Given the current global situation, the inauguration had to be postponed until 10 November, when a large number of guests gathered to celebrate the company’s success.

”It feels good that we can finally inaugurate our new, spacious and production-adapted premises together with our partners and that it coincides with the fact that we have received new serial production orders”, says Johan Bäckström, CEO of VBN Components AB.
