Funding round closes fully subscribed for VBN Components

Swedish company VBN Components AB has, despite the pandemic, continued its expansion as planned. To meet the growing interest and demand for VBN’s unique products, the company has now expanded its sales channels in Asia, Europe and North America with new distributors and sales representatives. This spring, VBN will also move to larger premises to accommodate a growing workforce and to be able to make significant investments in production equipment which will increase the range of services.

VBN, known for its innovations in 3D printed metal, has now completed its latest funding round. The company offers the hardest and most wear-resistant alloys on the world market, also known as “the world’s hardest steel” and “the world’s only 3D printed cemented carbide”. The materials are suitable for a number of industries such as the oil and gas, food, plastic, automotive and mining industries. In addition, VBN’s process gives a significant benefit to the environment through an important reduction of energy and a decrease of COemissions. The company offers everything from prototypes to series production and licenses.

“The fully subscribed funding round shows that our owners strongly believe in our global vision, which makes me proud and is very motivating. Our expansion of both sales channels and sales worldwide have begun to yield results, which shows that our offer is right on time”, says Johan Bäckström, CEO of VBN Components.
